Community Outreach
The Academy of St. Benedict the African engages in various annual activities to help bridge the gap between the school and the community, promoting a better understanding of each other's needs. These opportunities provide our students the chance to develop leadership skills and become responsible citizens who are actively involved in their community.
The Prayer Walk for Peace
We are better together.
Each year our young students of The Academy of St. Benedict the African School walk around the four corners of the school from 60th Street to Justine Street, then 61st Street onto Laflin Street, to pray for peace in their Englewood community.
